Doing anything other than picking up your entire life and moving it 1,000 miles away to start a new one! I know that doesn’t roll off the tongue quite the old additive, but it is true. We have been here now for a month and a couple of days, but it feels like we have been here for much longer. For all of you who have visited New York, you know that when you are here for a few days, it flies by because there is so little to see and so much time to see it…wait, scratch that, reverse it. However, when you live here, it is totally different. When you think to yourself, “should I go downtown and see (fill in with any number of things)?”, yourself says back, “maybe on my next off day”. So, it really doesn’t feel as fast-paced as you would think. Though, I assume that after we settle in to a routine, time will start to pick up speed.
