So, when people ask me how I am doing, my usual response is “livin’ the dream”. Admittedly, this response is usually meant to be somewhat sarcastic. However, a few days ago Brian (a co-new transfer at work) asked me when we got to work, “How are you doing?”, to which I responded, “Livin’ the dream”. This time it was different though. As soon as I said it, I thought to myself, “I actually am living the dream!” The dream I set for myself about five years ago to move to New York and start a career in Film Scoring has begun. I have moved to New York! It was a surreal experiece.
